"So, while you're off being unfaithful to your wife, fucking some god damned mortal woman," Ares shouted out at his father, "My son and nephew get caught in the storm, having to deal with your stray fucking bolts!?"

"You'd think the Almighty Zeus could control his power better than that."

Eris stood to the side of the room, fuming quietly, controlling her temper. Worry for her son kept her in check, she didn't want to do anything stupid.

"Ares! Calm yourself, I'm sure they're fine," the King of the Gods tried to reassure his angry son.

"Fine?!" Ares took a deep breath and calmed himself down, being War took a lot of concentration and restraint, he could keep himself under control.

Aphrodite stood with her arms crossed on the opposite side of the room from Eris and clenched her jaw tight. The Old Goat was going to have some serious changes come about in his extra - marital affairs soon.

"Zeus, I swear to you, if that woman is with child, I will make its life Tartarus, you understand me? She is responsible for several injuries to the House of Love and the House of War, and her bastard child will pay for it."

Ares left his threat on his father's plate and turned to leave the room. In an adjoining room, where Cupid was sitting next to his cousin, the Love God could hear the conversation between his family. His father briefly passed through the room, with a sympathetic glance at his son and sleeping nephew, he flashed out of the room.

Aphrodite and Eris both were seething with contempt for the Sky God. He saw it in their eyes and the glares he received from both Goddess' as they exited the room, themselves.

The End.
