Summary: Arguments. Just so I didn't leave such a cliff hanger,
here's a bit more.

"So, while you're off being unfaithful to your wife, fucking some god
damned mortal woman," Ares shouted out at his father, "My son
and nephew get caught in the storm, having to deal with your stray
fucking bolts!?"
"You'd think the Almighty Zeus could control his power better than
that."
Eris stood to the side of the room, fuming quietly, controlling her
temper. Worry for her son kept her in check, she didn't want to
do anything stupid.
"Ares! Calm yourself, I'm sure they're fine," the King of the Gods
tried to reassure his angry son.
"Fine?!" Ares took a deep breath and calmed himself down, being
War took a lot of concentration and restraint, he could keep himself
under control.
Aphrodite stood with her arms crossed on the opposite side of the
room from Eris and clenched her jaw tight. The Old Goat was
going to have some serious changes come about in his extra -
marital affairs soon.
"Zeus, I swear to you, if that woman is with child, I will make its life
Tartarus, you understand me? She is responsible for several injuries
to the House of Love and the House of War, and her bastard child
will pay for it."
Ares left his threat on his father's plate and turned to leave the
room. In an adjoining room, where Cupid was sitting next to his
cousin, the Love God could hear the conversation between
his family. His father briefly passed through the room, with
a sympathetic glance at his son and sleeping nephew, he
flashed out of the room.
Aphrodite and Eris both were seething with contempt for
the Sky God. He saw it in their eyes and the glares he received
from both Goddess' as they exited the room, themselves.
